CMAS P3 – Diving Management
Elevate your diving expertise with our CMAS P3 Diving Management course. This advanced certification offers a thorough review of diving theory and mastery of practical diving, with a strong emphasis on dive management, organization, and advanced diving techniques. After completing this course, you’ll be qualified to dive to depths of 39 meters, conduct short decompression stops, assist in dive courses, and pursue instructor certification.
Course Overview:
The CMAS P3 course combines intensive theoretical knowledge with practical application:
Theory:
Over the course of 25 lessons (spread across eight evenings), you’ll delve into advanced diving concepts, preparing for the final theory exam. Topics include:
- Diving techniques and practice
- Advanced diving equipment
- Use of compressors
- Search and salvage operations
- Diving physics and physiology
- Decompression and emergency management
- Diving medicine and health
- Maritime law and regulations
- Dive management and instruction
Practical Training:
The hands-on component includes at least eight sea dives and two surface modules, conducted over six diving days. You’ll develop advanced swimming techniques, navigation skills, and problem-solving abilities, as well as gain experience in dive management, salvage, search operations, and instruction.
Prerequisites:
To enroll in this course, you must have:
- CMAS P2, PADI Rescue Diver, or equivalent certification from a recognized diving organization
- Logged at least 60 sea dives, with at least 20 dives in the 20-30 meter depth range
