Dive Into Adventure with Our Basic Course
Our Basic Diving Course is your gateway to the thrilling world beneath the waves! Designed to create confident, safety-conscious, and independent divers, this course prepares you for recreational diving up to 20 meters, all under the expert guidance of our experienced instructors.
Course Structure:
The course includes both theoretical and practical components:
Theory:
The theory section is approximately 20 hours long, culminating in a multiple-choice exam. You can choose to complete the theory either through traditional classroom sessions or via eLearning. If you opt for eLearning, we’ll set aside a day for in-depth discussion and any questions you might have.
Key topics covered include:
- Diving equipment and techniques
- Underwater physical conditions
- Dive planning, including using dive tables and computers
- Rescue techniques and first aid
- Diving medicine and safety procedures
Practical Training:
The hands-on training involves two days of pool sessions and three days of sea dives, with at least six dives in total. Training is tailored for diving in Norwegian waters, meeting the specific standards set by the Norwegian authorities.
Upon successful completion, you’ll earn the internationally recognized CMAS P1 certification, allowing you to dive up to 20 meters.
Course Requirements:
- All participants must complete a medical check-up and be able to swim.
- You’ll need to purchase your own mask and fins; all other equipment is provided by us.
- The course typically spans two weeks and is offered every semester.

- NOK 7000 for non-students

As a bonus, we include a Nitrox course at no extra cost (normally priced at NOK 800).
