Take your diving skills to the next level with our CMAS P2 Rescue Diver course. This advanced training is designed to deepen your competence in sports diving, with a special emphasis on rescue techniques and damage control. After completing this course, you’ll be qualified to dive up to 30 meters.
What You’ll Learn:
This course combines theory and practical skills to prepare you for more challenging dive environments. Key topics include:
- Advanced diving equipment and techniques
- Diving under more demanding conditions
- Gas consumption and dive planning
- Advanced table usage and practical dive management
- Rescue techniques for fellow divers
- Gas distribution during ascent (floating and using a DSMB)
- Navigation and deep diving skills
Theory:
The theoretical component is delivered via eLearning, allowing students to work through the material and assignments at their own pace. This is followed by an in-person theory session with an instructor, focusing on fast-paced learning and open discussions, encouraging students to reflect on their diving experiences.
Practical Diving:
Practical training emphasizes rescue skills, including diver recovery, ascent techniques, and buoy use. You’ll also gain valuable experience with underwater navigation and deep dives.
Admission Requirements:
To enroll, you must have:
- CMAS P1, PADI Open Water Diver, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized diving organization
- Completed a Nitrox course
- Experience using a dry suit
- At least 20 logged dives post-basic certification
